Patrick J. Pollard is a General Partner of Red Barn Investments, a family office-based private investment fund. In addition, he is president and founder of BlueStar Ventures L.P., a venture capital fund based in Chicago. Mr. Pollard has more than 20 years of merger and acquisition and private equity experience. Prior to his current private investment activities Mr. Pollard most recently served as head of the Chicago corporate finance office of ABN AMRO Incorporated.

Mr. Pollard has been an active investor and presently serves as a director of CoreXchange, Inc., PV Media Group, SCO Logistics, Inc., and NetNearU Corp. He holds a Masters of Management degree in Finance and Management Policy from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
